A Graduate of UCD and of the Tivoli Institute where he completed his three year professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. He also holds a Diploma in Integrative Clinical Supervision from Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy. John has trained at the Rutland Centre, where he completed his Internship as an Addiction Therapist and Group Facilitator. He also holds the PCI college Certificate in Sexual Addiction Counselling. John has gained a breadth of experience from working for five years with the Samaritans, dealing with all age groups.
He is a Fully Accredited Member of the three main Irish associations; Irish Association of Alcohol and Addiction Counsellors (IAAAC); Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP); and Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). He is also a Fully Accredited Supervisor with IAAAC and IAHIP.
